Bananarama’s Original Lineup Reunites For First-Ever Tour

’80s London pop greats Bananarama got together in 1979, and they effectively broke up when group member Siobhan Fahey split acrimoniously from her two bandmates in 1988, going on to form Shakespeare’s Sister. In the years in between, Bananarama were responsible for great singles like “Cruel Summer” and “Venus,” but they somehow never went on a proper tour. That’s about to change; they are back together and ready to hit the road. In a new Guardian feature, the members of the group reflect on their tenure and talk about the fences they had to mend to come back together. And they’ve announced the dates for a November UK tour; check those out below.
