Watch Big Boi Do “Mic Jack” On The Tonight Show With The Roots & Sleepy Brown
Last week, OutKast great Big Boi announced that he’s got a new solo album called Boomiverse coming this summer, and he shared two new songs: “Mic Jack,” with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, and “Kill Jill,” with Killer Mike and Jeezy. Last night, Big Boi was the musical guest on The Tonight Show. He performed “Mic Jack,” but he didn’t have Levine with him. Instead, the man on the chorus was Big Boi’s longtime Organized Noize collaborator Sleepy Brown, who probably should’ve been singing on the recorded version, too. The members of the Roots backed the two of them up. Watch the performance below.
Boomiverse is reportedly coming in June.
