Bon Iver, TVOTR To Play David Lynch’s Second Festival Of Disruption
Last year, David Lynch threw himself a music festival. Lynch’s Festival Of Disruption raised money for his David Lynch Foundation, and it featured performances from people like Robert Plant and St. Vincent. You might think that, with the revival of his TV series Twin Peaks, Lynch would be too busy for an enterprise like that. But no: The Festival Of Disruption will return for its second year this fall in LA, and it’ll boast an even more impressive lineup.
As with last year, the Festival Of Disruption will come to LA’s Theatre At Ace Hotel. This time, it’ll go down 10/14-15, and it’ll feature Bon Iver, TV On The Radio, the Kills, Sharon Van Etten, Laura Marling, and Reggie Watts, as well as DJ sets from Moby and the artist Shepard Fairey. Writer Christine McKenna will host Q&A sessions with Lynch collaborators like Bill Pullman, Ed Ruscha, and Sheryl Lee. There will also be screenings of films like Lost Highway and rare Lynch shorts, an art exhibit from Lynch, and a meditation with Bob Roth. Here’s the poster:
