Rich Homie Quan Could Face 30 Years In Prison For Felony Drug Possession
All signs pointed to comeback season for Rich Homie Quan. After signing to Motown Records/Capitol Music Group in February and releasing his Back To Basics project in April, the rapper has landed in trouble with the law once again.
The “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” MC was reportedly arrested on Saturday alongside five other men, on suspicion of possession of a stolen gun and drugs in his native Atlanta, Georgia.
According to TMZ, Rich Homie Quan (real name: Dequantes Devontay Lamar) dodged weapons charges but was booked for felony drug possession after officers found weed on him. He is reportedly being held in jail until Friday’s hearing and could potentially face 30 years in prison if convicted.
A rep for Lamar did not immediately return a request for comment.
