Seattle’s Great Grandpa are gearing up to release their debut album, Plastic Cough, this summer and we’ve already heard singles “Fade” and “Teen Challenge.” Their latest is the tightly-wound “Expert Eraser,” a song that narrates the frantic inner-workings of an anxious mind. “We crave the twangy void of the perfect diploid/ I am irrational an expert eraser,” Alex Menne sings, her voice lurching from ecstatic to nervous every other verse. “So soon talk your way out of existence,” she hollers alongside the rest of the band.
