Grandaddy – “Brush With The Wild” Video (Feat. Jonah Ray)
Earlier this year, reunited Californian psych-poppers Grandaddy came back with Last Place, their first new album in 11 years. Today, they’ve got a new video for the album track “Brush With The Wild,” from director Aaron Beckum. It’s got Jonah Ray, the actor from the Nerdist podcast and the new Mystery Science Theater 3000 reboot, as a hopeless sad sack who tries to get over a breakup by throwing out all the items that remind him of his ex. The inevitable twist comes when those objects come to life, Beauty And The Beast-style, and attempt to help him win her back. It’s a pleasant piece of low-budget surrealism, and you can watch it below, via NPR.
Last Place is out now on 30th Century.
