Stream The Debut Album From Colin Stetson’s Experimental Metal Band Ex Eye
Ex Eye is the new instrumental metal band led by saxophonist and regular indie rock collaborator Colin Stetson. They’re dropping their debut album tomorrow, but you can stream it in full today. The self-titled LP finds its home in the experimental realm, offering an innovative fusion of sounds from metal, jazz, and beyond. The tracklisting only boasts four songs, and we’ve heard half of them in the lead-up to release in the form of album opener “Xenolith; The Anvil” and the precisely calculated madness of “Opposition/Perihelion; The Coil.” Below, take a dive into what operatic, larger-than-life arrangements the complete album has to offer.
