Snoop Dogg Parodies Young Thug In New “Moment I Feared” Video
Snoop Dogg appears to be making fun of Young Thug in his new video for “Moment I Feared” off of his recent album Neva Left, which doubles as an episode of his GGN talk show. In the clip, as Pitchfork points out, Snoop interviews a fictional up-and-coming rapper named Fonz D-lo, clearly based on Young Thug, who wears dresses and purses and at one point recreates Thug’s iconic Jeffery album cover. Snoop asks Fonz if he’s gay, and he replies, “Yes, I’m happy. I’m happy right now.” Snoop then asks him what the first thing he thinks about when he wakes up in the morning is, and he responds, “Cock. My annoying neighbors, they have this rooster.” Not really a great look for Snoop, who has already come under fire for saying homophobic shit in the past. It’s also worth noting that Snoop guests on “Get High,” a track on Thug’s new album Beautiful Thugger Girls. Watch the “Moment I Feared” video below.
