Watch Vince Staples Play The Tonight Show With Damon Albarn, Ray J, Kilo Kish, & The Roots

On Friday, Vince Staples released his excellent, techno-flavored new album Big Fish Theory. It's an album full of guest stars, many of whom help out in almost-imperceptible ways. And when he performed on The Tonight Show last night, Staples was backed up by a truly baffling array of stars: Tonight Show house band the Roots, underground sing/rapper Kilo Kish, reality-TV and amateur-porn attention-demander Ray J, and, beamed in on a glitchy screen behind him, Blur/Gorillaz mastermind Damon Albarn. Together, these guys all did "Love Can Be," the house-influenced Big Fish Theory deep cut. It's a very cool performance, with all the performers arrayed across the stage in geometrically precise ways and Staples dressed like a sci-fi villain. Staples didn't change expressions at all while onstage, and he stood perfectly still. Watch it below.

Big Fish Theory is out now on Def Jam. That little hug between Staples and Kilo at the end of the performance was a really nice moment.
