Space Camp – “Bazooka The Venue”
We named queer art-punk goon squad Space Camp a Band To Watch earlier this year thanks to the erratic whirlwind charm of Emasculation Suite, the Connecticut trio’s debut full-length. Next month, they’re following it up with a new one called Force Femmed, and “Bazooka The Venue” is another mad two-minute dash of a song, sprinting from titanic doom riffs to roiling noise to what that sounds vaguely like someone attempting to play Kamaro’s Song from The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask on bagpipes. That is to say, Space Camp’s music is as fun as ever, and you can prove that by pressing play below. So do that.
