The Fresh & Onlys have waited three years to release their follow-up to 2014’s House Of Spirits. The newest single from their anticipated album Wolf Lie Down, of which we’ve already heard the title track, tells the chilling almost-fatal tale of singer Tim Cohen’s birth in classic rock capacity. In an interview with CoS, Cohen discussed his status as an “Impossible Man” due to going into a coma only a few days after his birth. “I am an impossible man to understand, breathing into a mic/ Born in a hospital bed, good as dead,” he sings over bubbly guitar-pop with a light veil of distorted grime.
