Everything Is Recorded is the new project of XL Recordings label head and curator Richard Russell, and he released his debut EP under name, Close But Not Quite, earlier this year. The title track features Sampha, one of Russell’s XL protégés, and today it’s gotten a video to go along with it that visualizes the song’s conception from start to finish in Russell’s West London studio The Copper House, from the Curtis Mayfield song it repurposes to the long nights in the studio to finally laying down the vocal track.
