Since Great Grandpa's debut album, Plastic Cough, came out a couple of weeks ago, I've been really obsessed with its closing track, the paranoia-induced zombie invasion turned personal revelation "28 Js L8r." That has nothing to do with what's below, but I just wanted to say ... damn, that's a good song! "No" is a good song too, and today the Seattle band is sharing a video for it that was illustrated by Lisa Jake.
Presumably taking a little inspiration from the classic The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the vid follows around an awkward-looking and empathetic caterpillar that's getting harassed by some fanged spiders. Sad ... but cute! The caterpillar ends up going through their inevitable transformation and, much like the metamorphosis that the band aims to achieve through their music, it comes back as a cool-ass butterfly that fucks shit up by being... incredibly nurturing? It's a treat to watch, and you can do so below.
