Brendon Urie Won’t Sign Kinky Boots Playbills Anymore Because Panic! At The Disco Fans Won’t Stop Screaming In His Face
Panic! At The Disco were always the most theater-kid-friendly of the galactically popular mid-’00s emo bands, and that was not exactly a theater-kid-unfriendly scene. (They also remain popular! They had a #1 album last year.) And earlier this year, frontman Brendon Urie actualized his potential when he took a lead role in the Broadway show Kinky Boots. But it seems as though the transition hasn’t been entirely smooth, and Urie seems to be a bit freaked out about all his Panic! At The Disco fans who are showing up at the theater.
On Twitter over the weekend, Urie got frustrated with all the fans who keep showing up at the stage door to scream at him:
Hey I love y'all. But I can't keep coming out to stage door when you scream in my face and don't listen. So I'm done hope to see y'all later

And last night, Urie’s friend Zack Hall announced to fans out side the theater that Urie would not be coming out to sign stuff:

Here’s Hall’s tweet from the weekend about the fans who kept yelling at Urie:
We tried like hell to keep doing these signings for you guys but after a few nights of it getting worse and worse it has to end. pic.twitter.com/GED7VRRliw

And here are some fan-made videos of the crush outside that door:
It must just be so awful to have teenagers yelling that they love you all the time.
