Queens Of The Stone Age have cancelled their appearance at San Francisco's Outside Lands Festival, which they were scheduled to play on 8/12. The cancellation is apparently "due to injury" (no other details beyond that) and the band said in a statement that they "look forward to returning to the Bay Area at a later date." The Outside Lands date was their last scheduled festival appearance before they embark on their own tour in support of their new album, Villains. That tour is scheduled to kick off in Port Chester, NY on 9/6, and as far as we know is going ahead as scheduled.
