Despite the short sprinkle of raindrops in the morning, day one of Lollapalooza was going smoothly -- at least, until Liam Gallagher took the stage.
Gallagher's set began at 4:30PM CT, and by 4:50, the onetime Oasis frontman walked off the Grant Park stage after playing just four songs. According to the official Lolla schedule, he was set to play a one-hour set, from 4:30-5:30PM CT.
While explanations from festival-goers included "Liam being Liam," Gallagher took to Twitter not long after the abbreviated set to apologize, blaming vocal issues for his early departure.
