Willie Nelson Couldn’t Finish Salt Lake City Show Because Of High Altitude
The country-music legend Willie Nelson has been a touring institution for decades, but he is 84 years old, and apparently he isn’t quite superhuman. Last night, as the New York Daily News reports, Nelson played Salt Lake City’s Usana Amphitheatre, and after struggling through half an hour of performing, he left the stage as one of his bandmates told the crowd that he needed a break. A few minutes later, someone came onstage to announce that the show was over. Nelson apologized on Twitter:
This is Willie I am sorry to have to cut the SLC show short tonight The altitude got to me I am feeling better now & headed for lower ground

Scott wanted the headline of this post to be “Willie Nelson too high to finish Salt Lake City show,” but some puns are beneath my self-respect.
