The Pantone Color Institute has announced that they've partnered with Prince's estate to create a new standardized color to pay tribute to the late artist. Naturally, the color is a purple hue and it's been dubbed "Love Symbol #2"; it was inspired by the shade of his custom-made Yamaha purple piano. That piano was supposed to accompany him on tour before he passed away. Going forward, the new "Love Symbol #2" shade will be used in all Prince-related material put out by his estate.
