This year, we’re supposed to get a new My Bloody Valentine album, and it looks like the band is scheduling shows in support of it. Kevin Shields played a rare solo show at the end of last year, and now the first full band MBV show has been announced. It’ll take place at Japan’s Sonicmania festival on 8/17, as Pitchfork points out. It’s the band’s first scheduled show since 2013.
