Actress Alicia Silverstone played Cher Horowitz in Amy Heckerling’s teen comedy Clueless, which premiered in 1995. It’s one of the greatest teen movies of all time, and when the soundtrack turned 20 I wrote about what made music such an integral part of the film. Cher remains Silverstone’s most iconic role, and though she’s appeared in a ton of movies since (The Killing Of A Sacred Deer being one of them), Clueless is Her Role through and through.

Clueless is so beloved that Iggy Azalea debuted a video based off of the film two decades after its initial release. “Fancy” features Charli XCX and in the clip Azalea stars as Cher. So, it’s fitting that Silverstone herself appeared on Lip Sync Battle to perform “Fancy.” She wore Cher’s iconic yellow plaid skirt suit ensemble and lip-synced alongside a dancer dressed as Cher’s bff Dionne.
