Savages frontwoman Jehnny Beth will star in the French film An Impossible Love (Un Amour Impossible), based off of Christine Angot’s novel of the same name. The Catherine Corsini-directed movie is about an “intense but short-lived romance” that takes place during the 1950s, and its impact on a woman and her daughter. Beth will be playing the daughter, Chantal. The cast also includes Niels Schneider and Virginie Efira. An Impossible Love (Un Amour Impossible) is out 11/7 in France. Watch the trailer below.
