Moaning – “Make It Stop”
Moaning are a few weeks out from releasing their sophomore album, Uneasy Laughter. The LA-based band has shared two songs from it so far, “Ego” and “Fall In Love,” and today they’re putting out another one, the drawling and stormy “Make It Stop.” “You got lost in the dark/ What is true in your heart/ I got lost in my mind/ Make it stop, make it stop…” Sean Solomon sings in the chorus.
“The song is about questioning negative thoughts but struggling to find a solution,” he said in a statement. “Being stuck in your head. There was a period of time where I thought everyone hated me and was out to get me. Now I realize no one actually is putting that much energy into thinking about me at all. Depression can be extremely narcissistic. I encourage people who relate to this song to call someone and ask for help.”
The track comes along with a music video featuring a collage made by the band. Watch and listen below.
