Like a lot of other festivals, Outside Lands is skipping over a planned 2020 edition and heading straight into 2021. Today, the San Francisco-based fest has announced a lineup and ticket sale details for an event that’s over a year away. (A lineup for the 2020 festival was never announced). Outside Lands 2021 will take place from 8/6-8 at Golden Gate Park. It’ll be headlined by Tame Impala, the Strokes, and Lizzo.

Other artists performing include Tyler, The Creator, Vampire Weekend, J Balvin, Kehlani, the 1975, ZHU, Young Thug, Khruangbin, Beach House, Nelly, Brittany Howard, Burna Boy, Big Thief, Angel Olsen, Earthgang, EOB, Sharon Van Etten, JPEGMAFIA, Rico Nasty, 070 Shake, Moses Sumney, Hinds, Yves Tumor, Caroline Polachek, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Julia Jacklin, the Beths, Madeline Kenney, Nap Eyes, and more.

The 2020 festival was cancelled after talking with local heath officials. “We are thrilled for the festival to be coming back in 2021. There’s been a lot of bad news out there with regard to COVID-19 and we want to give people something to look forward to,” said Allen Scott, one of the co-producers of Outside Lands, in a statement. “We’re hopeful that in sharing our excitement about the future of the festival and next year’s lineup, that it provides some much-needed positivity for our fans and community.”
