Deftones Announce White Pony Remix Album With DJ Shadow, Robert Smith, & More
Last month, Deftones released a new album, Ohms, and their alt-metal classic 2000 album White Pony turned 20 earlier this year. The band are honoring that legacy with a remix album called Black Stallion, which will be out in December alongside a deluxe edition of the album.
Contributors include DJ Shadow, the Cure’s Robert Smith, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, Squarepusher, Clams Casino, Phantogram, Blanck Mass, Tourist, and more. Today alongside the announcement, they’re sharing Purity Ring’s rework of “Knife Prty.” (Purity Ring also released a new album, WOMB, this year.)
