Eugene McGuinness earned his BTW bona fides last year on the back of the great, pseudo-spooky pop romp (and memorable cartoony clip) "Monsters Under The Bed."The video wound up being a YouTube front pager, and the single wound up on the eight track mini-album The Early Learningn Of Eugene McGuinness. Still enamored with his name, then, Eugene's promising a self-titled full length debut this October. Its first single "Moscow State Circus" is another ramshackle jangler, albeit sunnier, and packing a video featuring linedancing fencers, sorta like that WMMF video without the Lance Armstrong.
