The Boise trio Ingrown play an ultra-heavy, extra thick iteration of hardcore that has a lot in common with death metal and Pantera's sludgy riff-monster approach. Today they've blasted two new songs into the world, "Cold Steel" and "Grunt," for a 7" that, in the words of my trusted colleague Tom Breihan, "goes crazy." It really does go crazy, Tom.
