Over the summer, Katy Kirby shared “Cubic Zirconia” and signed to ANTI- Records. Her 2021 album Cool Dry Place was a remarkable debut for the Nashville singer-songwriter, and today she announced its follow-up, Blue Raspberry. The track “Table” is out now with a video.

In a statement, Kirby said “Table” is “a thematic outlier on this record, and more of a lighthearted leftover from my god-haunted past life — it’s the last on the album and sort of serves as an epilogue or outro for the rest of the songs. Most importantly it’s quite fun to sing.”

She worked with producers Alberto Sewald and Logan Chung, citing Andy Shauf’s The Party and Lomelda’s Hannah as inspiration.
