This past weekend, the emo and pop-punk nostalgia-fest When We Were Young went down in Las Vegas. Once again, the show brought the same ridiculously loaded lineup to the same venue for two days in a row. The two headliners were Blink-182, who just released their classic-lineup reunion album One More Time…, and Green Day, who have a new album of their own on the way.

On Thursday night, Green Day played a warm-up club show in Las Vegas. During that set, they announced plans for a 2024 tour with the Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and the Linda Lindas. They also debuted the new song “The American Dream Is Killing Me,” introducing it as the first song on their new album. They’ve been teasing that new LP for a couple of years now, and they played “The American Dream Is Killing Me” on both nights of When We Were Young. Last night, as Brooklyn Vegan points out, they also debuted a new track called “Look Me, No Brains!,” which is rumored to be the B-side to “The American Dream Is Killing Me.” It sounds very much like a Green Day song. Brooklyn Vegan also notes that Good Charlotte randomly brought out surprise guest Lil Wayne to help out with last night’s performance of “Lifestyles Of The Rich & Famous.” Sure! Here’s video of that:
