Letters To Cleo – “Bad Man” & “It’s Sunny Outside”
Letters To Cleo have been reunited for nearly a decade now, intermittently playing shows and occasionally releasing some new music. So far, the ’90s alt-rock band has put out two projects since getting back together: a 2016 EP called Back To Nebraska and a 2019 holiday EP called OK Christmas. Today, they’re releasing a pair of new tracks, “Bad Man” and “It’s Sunny Outside,” which will also be available on a 7″ that will be sold next month at their shows celebrating the 30th anniversary of Aurora Gory Alice.
These new songs were written during some pre-pandemic writing sessions between Kay Hanley and Michael Eisenstein. “We would get together and make these super quick demos that we always loved and in fact performed at last year’s Cleo shows,” Eisenstein explained in a press release. Listen to both below.
Letters To Cleo’s Aurora Gory Alice 30th anniversary shows will take place on November 15 at Brooklyn Made in NYC and on November 17 & 18 at Paradise Rock Club in Boston. After that, the “Bad Man” b/w “It’s Sunny Outside” 7″ will be available on their website.
