Stream MIKE & Tony Seltzer’s New Album Pinball Feat. Earl Sweatshirt, Tony Shhnow, Niontay, & Jay Critch
Toward the end of last year, the prolific New York underground rapper MIKE released two albums. First, he teamed up with Wiki and the Alchemist on Faith Is A Rock, and then, just a few weeks later, he came out with his solo LP Burning Desire. Now, just a few months after that little blitz, MIKE has released another album, teaming up with New York producer Tony Seltzer for the collaborative LP Pinball.
Tony Seltzer has also been plenty busy lately. Last year, he and Wiki released the collaborative album 14K Figaro. MIKE often produces his own tracks, and Seltzer’s crisp, funky beats bring him out of his shell a little bit. We’ve already posted first single “R&B,” and the whole album is out today. On this one, you can really hear MIKE cutting loose and having some fun.
Pinball has appearances from some of MIKE’s peers on the underground rap landscape. You will probably want to pay special attention to “On God,” which has MIKE sharing the microphone with Earl Sweatshirt and Tony Shhnow. Elsewhere, Jay Critch and Niontay also make appearances. Good record! Below, stream Pinball and watch the new video for the album track “Underground Kingz.”
