Maxband — the New York City group led by Parquet Courts drummer Max Savage — is releasing a new album called Maxband On Ice at the beginning of October. They’ve shared a couple songs from it already, including “Nothing’s Changed” and “Take-out Menu,” and today they’re sharing one more, “Lines,” which debuted over on Brooklyn Vegan.

“The songwriting has matured, both lyrically and instrumentally,” Savage told them. “We’re a much tighter band now, and we’ve improved as musicians individually. Everyone’s voices can be heard on this record, and our winsome personalities are reflected in each song.” Check out “Lines” below.
