Earlier this year, Middle Kids unveiled their latest album Faith Crisis Pt. 1. Today, the Sydney alt-rock trio participated in triple j's Like A Version series, tackling the Oasis classic "Champagne Supernova," a timely choice considering the recent reunion.
"This is probably our favorite Oasis song, collectively," Hannah Joy explains in the accompanying behind-the-scenes video. "We like Oasis a lot. This song is a very beautiful song."
Tim Fitz adds, "They're such beautiful lyrics. So we kind of wanted to do something as minimal as possible just to really highlight the beautiful melodies and lyrics."
