I live in the UK. Yesterday I had a house with a garden. Today, all my meagre possessions are tied in a soiled handkerchief on the end of a stick. The only consolation I have, as I huddle by this makeshift fire of used bandages and family photos, is that at least now I can understand the reason for this turn of events.
