Last month Hatchie announced her new album Liquorice and released the lead single “Lose It Again." Now, the Australian artist is going full '90s dream pop on the ravishing followup, "Only One Laughing."
“I wrote ‘Only One Laughing’ to air my frustrations with the state of the world and the position I found myself in at the time (early 2023)," Harriette Pilbeam says. "I wanted a rollicking song that felt like you were struggling to keep up with me basically ranting about the lack of control I felt over my life.”
