The Australian electronic producer Ninajirachi had a breakout year thanks to I Love My Computer, a set of tracks that bring brain-fried hyperactivity to the sounds of 2010s EDM. It placed highly on our list of the year's best albums, and highlight "Fuck My Computer" landed on our songs list. She's capping off her big 2025 with a guest spot on the new album from her fellow Aussie, Alison Wonderland.
Ghost World is full of dark electro, nasty synth-pop, and cinematic trap-rave sounds that takes me back to 2013. There are even parts that remind me of peak Crystal Castles. And on "Heaven," Alison Wonderland joins forces with Ninajirachi for some rave-friendly power balladry, complete with robotic brostep bass when the beat achieves liftoff. Have a listen:
Ghost World is out now via EMI Music Australia.
