The Chainsmokers are back, wreaking remix havoc. The duo has been reworking some of music’s biggest hits, including Charli XCX’s “party 4 u,” Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club,” and Gracie Abrams’ “That’s So True.” Last month, they shared a rework of Taylor Swift’s “The Fate Of Ophelia,” and to close out 2025, they dropped a remix of sombr’s “back to friends.” All of these are unsolicited remixes, except for Swift's, which is available on DSPs. Most recently, they released a remix of EsDeeKid’s “4 Raws” yesterday afternoon, and it has not been received well.
The British rapper tweeted:
that chainsmokers remix is getting NUKED mate wow please. don’t remix my shit and think it’s cool to post to all DSPs.
The remix has been removed from YouTube and SoundCloud, but clips are still making the rounds online.
That aside, a congratulations are in order for Drew Taggart, one half of the Chainsmokers, and model Marianne Fonseca. They tied the knot last weekend.
