A couple of months ago, post-hardcore supergroup Bitter Branches returned with "Basic Karate." Now the band — made up of Tim Singer (Deadguy, Kiss It Goodbye), Jeff Tirabassi (Walleye), Matt Ryan (Cavalry), Kevin Sommerville (Lighten Up!), and Dan Yemin (Paint It Black, Kid Dynamite, Lifetime) — is back to announce their sophomore record, Let’s Give The Land Back To The Animals.
The album was produced by J. Robbins. About the music, Tirabassi says, "On our first record I feel like we were all trying to get our feet underneath it, but on this one we really wanted to lean into the groove." Singers adds, "On a fanboy level especially for us old heads, it scratches that Jesus Lizard itch; a little bit of exploring a lane over there instead of the typical lanes."
