Knumears Announce Debut Album Directions: Hear “Fade Away” (Feat. Jeromes Dream’s Jeff Smith)

Since forming in 2021, Knumears have been releasing ruthless screamo. The Los Angeles trio recently signed to Run For Cover and its imprint Summer Shade, and now they're announcing their debut album Directions.

Knumears is guitarist/vocalist Matthew Cole, bassist/vocalist Dante Garcia II, and drummer Frankie Lopez, and Directions was produced by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Gouge Away). "I think what draws us to this music, just like everyone else, is the absolute raw emotion," says Cole. "In this kind of music people can really write about whatever they want, whether it's being super angry, super sad, super happy — all of it has something in common, and that’s feeling so strongly about it that all they can do is scream."

The lead single "Fade Away" is out today and comes with a music video directed by Gabe Herrera. Watch below.
