The Grammy goes to: Olivia Dean. The British singer won Best New Artist, beating out fellow nominees for Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Katseye, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, the Marías, Olivia Dean, and Sombr. Dean accepted the award following a medley performance highlighting each of this year's Best New Artist contenders.

During her acceptance speech, Dean said, "I'm up here as the granddaughter of an immigrant. I wouldn't be here — I'm a product of bravery, and I think those people deserve to be celebrated. So, yeah, we're nothing without each other."

This is Dean's first-ever Grammy nomination, coming on the heels of her breakthrough sophomore album The Art Of Loving from 2025. She also made her SNL debut last November, during which she performed her TikTok-viral Top 10 hit "Man I Need." Shortly afterwards, she publicly called out Ticketmaster upon discovering that the company had severely marked up tickets to her summer North American tour; Ticketmaster and AXS then both agreed to reimburse the difference to buyers who paid over face value, and capped all future ticket resale prices to face value.
