Provocative sing-speak songstress Cobrah has announced her debut album Torn, out March 6 via Atlantic Records. She's shared the new single "Hush" alongside the announcement with a video directed by Julius Hayes.
Cobrah is a multidisciplinary artist from Gothenburg, Sweden that gained traction from Stockholm’s underground fetish scene. She specializes in latex pop bangers. Although Cobrah excels at providing a high-octane good time with seductive ferocity, she said in a press release that the forthcoming project expands her creative palette. "I have a melodic language that I haven’t used before until now," she said. "Before it was too personal for me to show it, I didn’t feel strong enough."
On the new single, she added: “It’s about meeting someone in the club — that early phase where you can’t really talk, but everything is suggestive. The song has that energy of holding back, of give-and-take.”
