Bruce Springsteen Performs His Anti-ICE Protest Song Live For The First Time At Tom Morello’s Benefit In Minneapolis

Tom Morello headlined a benefit concert for the families of Department of Homeland Security shooting victims Renee Good and Alex Pretti this afternoon at the legendary Minneapolis music venue First Avenue. Promo materials touted a very special guest, and indeed, Morello's longtime friend and collaborator Bruce Springsteen showed up to perform his anti-ICE protest song "Streets Of Minneapolis" live for the first time.

In addition to his solo acoustic rendition of the new song, Springsteen played "The Ghost Of Tom Joad" with Morello and covered John Lennon's "Power To The People." Morello opened his own set with Rage Against The Machine's "Killing In The Name" and later covered "This Land Is Your Land" with co-headliners Rise Against. Below, check out footage from the gig, which also featured Al Di Meola and Ike Reilly.
