Meet Meg Lui, Asthmatic Kitty Records' newest signee. The Northern California-born, Hudson Valley-based singer-songwriter released her debut song "Gone Girl" on Friday (Jan. 30), and it has Sufjan Stevens on background vocals, co-production, and instruments.
"Gone Girl" is sweeping, poignant ballad, and Stevens' delicate presence heightens the atmosphere. The song is, per the YouTube video caption, "about laying down our screens, stepping away from the daily grind and remembering how to be human again."
