Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold Announces 2026 Tour And Judee Sill Tribute In NYC

Shervin Lainez

It's been about a year and a half since Fleet Foxes played their last live show, and as far as we know, they don't have any immediate plans for more, though they did recently release an Elliott Smith cover. But main Fleet Fox Robin Pecknold occasionally plays solo-acoustic gigs, like the 2024 New York gig where he covered Joni Mitchell, Karen Dalton, and Arthur Russell, among others. Later this year, Pecknold will embark on a brief solo-acoustic tour.

This spring, Robin Pecknold will go on a quick run of performing-arts centers in the Northeast, where he'll share the bill with fellow singer-songwriter Allegra Krieger. It's not a full-scale tour by any means; he's only doing a handful of shows. At the end of it, he'll do a special event at New York's 92nd Street Y, a salute to the late folk artist Judee Sill. (That's another of the artists that he covered at that last New York solo show.) That evening, Pecknold will be joined by the Westerlies and my homie Amanda Petrusich from The New Yorker. Check out Pecknold's dates below.
