Gay Meat Announces Debut Album Blue Water Feat. Jeff Rosenstock, Chris Farren, Sarah Tudzin, & More

Back in November Karl Kuehn shared "Love For Fun," a new single from his indie rock project Gay Meat. Today Kuehn has shared the details for his upcoming debut album Blue Water, which is arriving in April and includes contributions from Jeff Rosenstock, Chris Farren, Illuminati Hotties' Sarah Tudzin, and more. Another new single called "More Good Angels" is out now.

"More Good Angels" has a '90s-throwback sound and a bittersweet, uplifting feel. Here's what Kuehn says in a press release about it:

What do you do when the person you lean on for emotional guidance is no more? I was sort of reaching out to a higher power for support and inventorying why it felt like I was on an island. My mom and I were that island. My parents had a messy divorce, and my mom was the youngest of 5, but I don’t know any of her siblings, or their children… and all of my grandparents have passed. We really did feel like this duo at the end of a limb on our family tree… and now we were experiencing this life altering tragedy just the two of us? I remember coming home from the hospital one day and this youtube video moved me to TEARS. This little kid Jordan talking about how everyone playing this game was an angel now… I sort of realized I had to be my own angel.
