It's been a few years since MUNA's last record, 2022's self-titled. Since then, Katie Gavin made her solo debut with the album What A Relief. Now the trio is back for more fun with the announcement of their fourth studio LP Dancing On The Wall, whose jubilant lead single is out today.
"'Dancing On The Wall' is possibly our favorite song we've made as a band," MUNA say in a statement. "We think it's all the best parts of MUNA — it's coming from a really emotional and lonely place, but the song itself makes us feel powerful and euphoric. It's written in the moment that the clock strikes midnight at the ball, and you have to give up the fantasy. In this case, it’s the fantasy of loving someone or something that can't love you back."
Produced by Naomi McPherson, Dancing On The Wall arrives in May and the group will be playing intimate shows in Los Angeles, New York, and London that month to celebrate. Below, see their upcoming live dates and the video for "Dancing On The Wall."
