Last month, youbet returned with "Deny," Nick Llobet's first new material since their 2024 album Way To Be. Now, the Brooklyn indie musician is announcing a new self-titled record and the news that the solo project has transformed into a duo with the addition of new member Micah Prussack. The lead single "Ground Kiss" is out today.
"The song represents an endless search for that something and the rebuilding that goes along with trial and failure," Llobet says of "Ground Kiss." About youbet's expansion, Llobet adds, "It's the beginning of a new era for youbet. The band started as a sort of bedroom project for myself, but it has transformed into something expansive since working with Micah. It’s like we're running a family business."
