The grimy, elliptical New York emcee and Armand Hammer member E L U C I D recently announced I Guess U Had To Be There, an album-length collab with Swiss producer Sebb Bash. They introduced the project with lead single "First Light," and today they've given us a second preview. Whereas "First Light" was so minimal that it barely featured a beat at all, "Make Me Wise" is more of a boom-bap slow-drift. String and choral samples swirl around E L U C I D's vocals as a loose slo-mo groove rolls on. Check it out below.
