Jessie Ware – “Ride”

Last month, Jessie Ware released the theatrical number "I Could Get Used To This." Shortly after, the British singer announced her new album Superbloom, not to be confused with the Brooklyn grunge band of the same name. It follows 2023's That! Feels Good!, which earned our Album Of The Week honor. Today she shared the second single "Ride."

"Since What's Your Pleasure? I've been trying out this fantasy world and escapism," Ware explains. "I'm not the most by-the-book 'pop star,' but I do like to play with dress-up, glamor, and fun. While I love dance music, I wanted to dig deeper with this record; to connect with real relationships and appreciate the love I have, and the fears I have of losing it."

"Ride" bursts with the sparkly, pulsating disco-pop that she's known for, and includes a fun interpolation of Ennio Morricone's theme for The Good, The Bad And The Ugly. Dive in below.

Superbloom is out 4/10 via Island / EMI.
