Since 2020, Austin's Riya Mahesh has been recording sprawling ambient-pop tunes and releasing them under the name Quiet Light. The artist and producer already has five albums under her belt, and today she's announcing a new mixtape called Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2.
Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2 is her debut for True Panther. "This record is for people who dream about what their life could be like," she explains. The lead single "Berlin" is simultaneously melancholic and bright, featuring saxophone from Henry Solomon laced with skittish electronic flourishes.
