some fear Announce New Album Word Eater: Hear “I Don’t Want To Spend My Money”

Some fear that some fear have a new album on the way. Not me, though. I'm like, "Why are you guys so nervous? They're just a slowcore band from Oklahoma City! Their impressive self-titled debut came out last year, and they've already announced plans for their sophomore album Word Eater! Stop screaming! Stop running away! This is a normal thing for a band to do!" But some just won't listen. Some simply cannot get over the fear.

some fear's sophomore LP drops next month, and there's honestly nothing very scary about that. With the album announcement, they've shared a tingly, downbeat new single with the extremely relatable title "I Don't Want To Spend My Money." I hear you, some fear. I don't want to do that, either.

In a press release, frontman Branden “Bran” Palesano says, "This song is about the evil billionaires and companies living off of us like the blood-sucking vampires they are. While we live paycheck to paycheck, they get to live lavishly and abundantly. Makes you want to stay inside and not spend a dime." Hell yeah. Some fear that. Listen to the song and check out the Word Eater playlist below.
